In this year's legislative update Ethan Hellier will present an overview of the National Political landscape and look at the results of the recent Mid Term Elections including the Governors race here in Wisconsin. Ethan will discuss the the current divide between the left and the right and review how the center (the moderate factions of each party) has become nearly non-existent. He wil discuss how the results of the Mid Term Election will impact the issues and agendas facing businesses Nationally and in the Midwest.
Kurt Bauer will Discuss the results of the Wisconsin Mid Term Election and the potential impacts to Wisconsin Businesses. He will Share WMC's legislative agenda and discuss the important roles that the state and local chambers of commerce play in advocating for our members and improving the economic environment for businesses.
Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow and County Board Chairman Paul Decker have been invited to share the major plans and issues facing the county in 2019.
New Berlin Mayor David Ament has also been invited to update us the city plans and issues in the new year.
