    Position Summary:
    We are looking for an outgoing, and energetic individual ready to work in a department that is the heart of our company. Our service department generates strong relationships with our customers, and ensures all products are repaired in a timely manner all while delivering an unforgettable experience. Getting our customers back out on their job with operating equipment is our mission! The Service Coordinator at Russo Power Equipment acts not only as the primary point of contact for customers but oversees our service employees’ needs.  This includes, but is not limited to coordinating schedules, general administrative work, and assisting service customers.
     
    Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Streamlines and delegated activities to staff
    • Coordinate schedules of workers
    • Train and evaluate employees
    • Ensure the Service division is on track to meet financial goals
    • Ensure the division complies with all company policies, including OSHA safe work practices
    • Assess the performance evaluations on lower-level positions
    • Motivate staff and give positive and constructive feedback
    • Build strong relationships with Russo management, industry partners and vendors
    • Works with other division coordinators and service management to ensure goals are met
    • Assist with special projects defined by management
    • Other tasks as defined by management
     
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Must possess good and general computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Must be very detail oriented and organized
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to work well with various level of staff
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Excellent problem solver
    • Knowledge of outdoor power equipment, landscaping or salt industry is a plus
    • Bilingual is a plus
     
     
    Credentials and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Service writing experience in commercial lawn, auto or similar is a plus
    • 1 year minimum of service experience
     
     
    Physical Demands
    • Employee must possess ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing between to 40-50lbs
    • Required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb to perform work
    • May be required to stand, walk and use hands-fingers for long periods of time
    • May be required to look at computer screen for long periods of time
